Grunge Rock Card

I got some new stamps to play with yesterday.  I had to get this new set, Grunge Rock, for scrapping.  It is a great set for Tweens and Teens, which I definitely need.  I decided to try to make a birthday card to have on hand in case Kaelen has a friend with a birthday soon.  I find it hard to come up with birthday cards for teen boys, but love this color combo and think this stamp set is perfect.  This also has to be my new favorite color combo - Early Espresso, Crumb Cake & Marina Mist.

Stamps: Grunge Rock
Ink: Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake, Versamark
CS:  Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
Accessories:  Crumb Cake taffeta ribbon

I loved the Grunge Rock card so well that I decided to also make another card with a different stamp set but same colors.  I used Aviary instead.  I really like both cards, but added a little to this one with the scrunched up ribbon.

Stamps: Aviary, Curly Cute
Ink: Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Crumb Cake
CS:  Marina Mist, Early Espresso, Very Vanilla
Accessories:  Crumb Cake taffeta ribbon, 5/16 Chocolate Brad

Rock Star Layout

I had these cute pics of Quinn that Chad took one night while I was gone. Apparently Quinn was singing "All day, all day, all day" and playing his guitar. I used the Extreme Elements set along with Extreme Guitar to make this layout.

The layout idea was taken from an issue of Creating Keepsakes. I am working on expanding my use of different layouts. I think it worked out great for these pics. Next I am going to try to use the exact same layout but a completely different design with different colors and stamps.

Ingredients:
Stamps: Extreme Elements, Extreme Guitar
CS: Basic Black Textured, Real Red, Basic Gray, Whisper White
Inks: Basic Gray, Real Red, Basic Black, Whisper White Craft
Accessories: Basic Black narrow grosgrain ribbon, Silver Brad, Silver 5/16 Brad, Billboard Sizzix Alpha, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter
